Himachal Pradesh Police launched a major crackdown on drug trafficking, raiding over 200 hideouts and making numerous arrests across the state.
The government amended labour laws, allowing shops and establishments to operate 24x7 to promote ease of doing business.
The IMD has issued orange and yellow alerts for heavy rain and hailstorms from June 11, following a period of heatwaves and forest fires.
The salary deferment for ministers and MLAs has been withdrawn by the state government, though the Chief Minister's 50% salary cut will continue.
